On July 13, Maria van der Hoeven, Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, visited the University of Twente to hand over a check worth €7.6 million to the High Tech Factory. The High Tech Factory is a shared production facility for new businesses, which is being developed as part of the MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology. A partner company of the High Tech Factory, SolMateS showed the Minister its progress on piezo solutions during this occasion.
