On April 5, the 'New Twente Dinner' was thrown in The Hague, the political center of the Netherlands. A selected delegation of entrepreneurs and representatives from the Twente area travelled to The Hague to present Twente. Arjen Janssens (CEO of SolMateS) delivered a speech about SolMateS and its role in the Dutch high-tech ecosystem. One of his quotes was: "Nederland moet Twentser worden!", which translates into: "The Netherlands should become more like Twente!". The audience received his statement with loud applause. The 'New Twente Dinner' was an initiative of MKB-Twente, VNO-NCW Twente, Industriële Kring Twente and the East-Netherlands Chamber of Commerce. During the event, Vice President Minister Verhagen personally discussed the innovation ecosystem with our CEO.
