In 2006 we started as a service oriented company in the field of material science and coatings using our skills and knowledge in micro- and nanotechnology. In order to improve products and processes, we perform R&D, analysis and feasibly studies.
SolMateS Optics
This unit of SolMateS is part of the joint venture Sumipro Coatings. In this joint-venture SolMateS process technology is used to deposit reflective and anti-reflective coatings on lenses, beamsplitters and mirrors. Polymer objects of PC, PMMA, Zeonex and others are coated by SolMateS.
Objects up to 200mm in diameter are currently coated for the military market.
SolMateS Piezo
SolMateS Piezo is a focussed and fast growing division of SolMateS. This unit offers a reliable PVD production solution to deposit PbZrTiOx (PZT) thin films on 4-6" wafers. Compared to other HVM technologies (like Sol Gel) quality problems such as delamination, homogeneity and backside contamination do not occur. Furhermore the throughput time as well as the cost per wafer are strongly reduced.
