SolMateS started in 2006 providing material science related services to improve products and processes. We have worked with more than 100 Dutch companies active in different markets, such as for example the solar cell and printing industry. Currently we are in the R&D-chain of several large and small companies. Customers include Solland Solar in Venlo, Urenco, Sensata Technologies, Bolletje, Panalytical, Mapper and Magneto.



SolMateS Optics:preferred supplier of Thales
Since 2007 SolMateS is the preferred supplier of Thales for AR-coatings on polymer optics used in various markets such as the military market.

SolMateS Piezo: seeing is believing
We have established in a short periode several industrial and R&D partnerships in which wafers with piezoelectric thin films are evaluated and tested or used for development. Different thin film compositions are used by customers for various MEMS as well as high K and IR-sensing applications. Customers are high level Universities, research Institutes as well as develop and production companies.
